01. Because it would be embarrassing to do on a public forum like the Internet, I write my broken elementary Japanese ramblings in a small, inconspicuous blue notebook. It’s easier to write my heart out in there and I get to practice my penmanship, too. I may take up 書道, if only for meditation.
02. Speaking of Nihongo, our midterm exam is coming up in a couple of days. I need to take some time off work and re-review stuff even from the previous level because the damn particles are still giving me trouble. Need to constantly remind self to analyze the purpose of the sentences before I go and insert the damn particles in them, damnit.
03. 50 Things <– Very good read! I wish I knew these things back then. Though tragic at times, college was just okay for me, not as spectacular an experience as it was for some lucky mofos I know.
04. Coffee cereal fish chicken shrimps buckwheat sausages spam lumpia noodles ramen cake milk mocha chocolate crepes pancakes peppers sprouts pumpkin ampalaya broccoli pork skin bread cola rice spinach curry.
05. Arashi of 2004-2005 is LOVE. D no Arashi #81 featuring Ohmiya’s Gyakukaiten has got to be the best thing on television. Ever. This one actually got a ninja shitting bricks in it. I can’t stop laughing every time I watch the episode. I miss this and A no Arashi. Arashi, please bring them back! Aiba’s Sugoroku, too! Also G, M, N, and O no Arashi, while you’re at it! Even T no Arashi!

Backward YMCA Dorks
Looks like fun! Would love to try the 「みのりか リズム4」, but I think the game would always end with me getting my forehead flicked with a pencil, owww.
Aaah, Tumblr is so addictive! Everyday, I found myself browsing through recommended Tumblr blogs on the main page and the Tumblr blogs they follow, especially while I’m waiting for my chai latte in WiFi-enabled coffeeshops. Ended up updating annalim.com about ten times a day. And then I go to all the linked Tumblogs in the reblogs and reblog again and again. It’s a neverending cycle. Who knew reblogging can give you a momentary sort of satisfaction? Like feeling really cool for having found something cool online, LOL. Dork.
Itching to upload original content, though. It’ll come to me in time. Anyway, today was really hot and humid, wasn’t it? Summer’s almost over and I just realized I have yet to get my pasty white ass to the beach.
The center of every man’s existence is a dream. Death, disease, insanity, are merely material accidents, like a toothache or a twisted ankle. That these brutal forces always besiege and often capture the citadel does not prove that they are the citadel.
- G.K. Chesterton, Twelve Types
G.K. Chesterton is always good for moments of existential angst. For some reason or other, I have yet to finish his The Man Who Was Thursday. Must remember to take the book along with me on long rides and such. I am rarely in the mood to read anything except magazines and textbooks when I’m at home.
Finally found a commenting system for annalim.com! So it’s only a matter of time before I put this blog on indefinite hiatus again. I have about five more posts to go before the post count reads 200 and because I’m absurdly OC, I will update this blog for the last time on the 200th post.
I… don’t have time for a proper blog anymore. As you may have notice from the last 78 entries or so, I mostly post about what interest me at the moment and rarely anything explicit that has reference to my personal life. Paranoia plays a big part in this, as does laziness and embarrassment. The good thing about Tumblr (where annalim.com is hosted at) is that it compels me to be as random as possible; rather than a journal, it’s a scrapbook of sorts, making it easy for me to share stuff I think or made in bits and pieces or reblog photos/articles/quotes I found somewhere else.

ひみつのアラシちゃん (2008年05月22日)
He’s cute, especially when he glares. I can’t wait for Maou! ![]()
My favorite ojisan team…

Isn’t that from Zara…? I have the same checkered green jacket! Satoshi-kun, why are you wearing a woman’s jacket? T_T

Internet is usually my only source of all things Arashi so you can imagine how happy I was to catch 智くん’s stage report on NHK’s Shounen Club last Sunday. And in the randomest manner possible, too! Absentmindedly turned the TV on after dinner and suddenly, there he was, his beautiful countenance beaming gently at me from across the screen. His radiance actually shocked me into speechlessness.
/Crazy fangirling.
